More Maryland Day Information:

Like our "make-and-takes" so much, you want to try them at home?

Ultraviolet-Detecting Beads: If you'd like to purchase the colour-changing beads used in our activity for your own use, you can find them at Educational Innovations.

Ultraviolet-Detecting Nail Polish: The colour-changing nail polish used in our activity can be purchased from Del Sol.

Our Famous Silly Putty: This year we are returning our famous silly putty. We've posted the much-requested recipe here; we also have take-away cards with the recipe at our table during Maryland Day. We're not sure where this recipe originally came from, but are sure you can search the Internet for additional recipe variations. This silly putty recipe is a great polymer activity to do with easy-to-get household ingredients. More information about silly putty's uses and how it works is available in pdf form.
